Statement to voters

I have lived in Ealing since 1991 and am active in voluntary and non-profits sectors.

Full statement

My earlier career comprised three decades in corporate and entrepreneurial business working with large organisations in public and private sectors across logistics, retail and financial services, latterly co-founding a successful professional services firm. I now use my expertise in mainly voluntary and trustee capacities to help turn round struggling non-profit organisations and establish “community building” initiatives, including in my local Catholic parish of Ealing Abbey and a pandemic scheme with other volunteers for large-scale backstop neighbourhood support.

My late wife and I decided to stay in Ealing after marrying in the mid 1990s as a great London environment in which to put down roots. Our parents, Hungarian refugees and from an East African Asian family respectively, equated welcome into the UK with the responsibility to appreciate the culture they were joining, assimilate and contribute to in every way we could. Following the tragic death of my late wife from cancer, I am now remarried and with our grown-up adopted sons together encompass over half a dozen ethnic groups. I have personal experience of bereavement, including tragically from suicide, and I strongly support initiatives associated with such impacts.

I’d be honoured to serve Ealing Central and Acton and am committed to being a community-building constituency MP.
