Potholes across the Parish, traffic speed in Thornwood (notably Upland Road, Rye Hill Road, and Woodside) the development of North Wead Airfield are among his campaign issues while he says the imposition of allocating one fifth of the houses detailed in the district council's Local Plan in the Parish is a "fundamental threat to the identity of the villages".

"Residents have told me they are fed up with party politics from both the Conservatives and Labour. Ultimately, they feel betrayed by the local and national Conservative Party."
