I split my time between working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in a Primary school and studying for a degree in Horticulture at Writtle University.

In my spare time I also a volunteer at Benfleet Horticultural Society in store and also as Membership Secretary. Horticulture is my passion and I can often be found exhibiting my flowers, fruit and vegetables in horticultural shows in the area including at Hyde Hall. I am also very interested in Green issues. I have been involved with the Labour Party for a number of years now and I've recently become the Castle Point Labour Party's Campaign Co-ordinator & Social Media Officer. I also hold positions in the Co-operative Party, Labour's sister party, having been elected to Secretary of the South Essex Branch and West East Anglia Party Council. As your councillor I would do everything in my power to serve our community, protect our Greenbelt and make our borough greener and more eco-friendly.
