Like many in South Cambridgeshire, Luke is keen to champion and support those suffering from the housing crisis, long NHS waiting lists, the explosive rise in the cost-of-living, and the lack of reliable public transport. A Labour government will bring a decade of national renewal that will transform the lives of the people in South Cambridgeshire.

Luke Viner said: “I am honoured to have been selected as Labour’s parliamentary candidate for South Cambridgeshire, my home for my entire professional life.

“I’m looking forward to continue meeting residents all across our beautiful constituency, to address your priorities, and give Britain its future back.

“I also, however, see the challenges faced by the local community after 14 years of a disastrous Tory government, whose levelling up programme has failed to address inequality in places like South Cambridgeshire.

“I think it is important that the people of Fulbourn, Melbourn, Cherry Hinton, and all our towns and villages up to and including parts of Cambridge, have an opportunity to vote for a Labour candidate and support the policies that will transform South Cambridgeshire and Britain.

“Only a Labour government can deliver the change that South Cambridgeshire needs: getting the NHS back on its feet and taking back our streets to tackle crime, particularly rural crime, and anti-social behaviour.
