This election will be held on Thursday 2 May 2024.

The Mayor of Liverpool City Region helps direct the overall strategy of the six councils which make up the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. The Mayor has responsibilities in areas such as transport, employment, culture, and housing.

Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire

This election will be held on Thursday 2 May 2024.

Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) are elected to hold the police to account. They have responsibility for their police force's finance, and can appoint or dismiss the Chief Constable. Once elected, each PCC must produce a Police and Crime Plan, which sets their force's strategic direction.
