Sarah Edwards lives in North Oxford and her work background is in the voluntary sector.

Now semi-retired, she is a community mediator and is also involved in several local organisations, including Low Carbon Oxford North, her allotments’ association and a carers’ support scheme. Sarah has been active in the green movement for many years and campaigned on a wide range of social justice and environmental issues.

If elected, Sarah is keen to continue the work of other Green councillors, pressing for change to make Oxford a more sustainable, healthier and fairer city. One of her key concerns is to tackle the housing crisis in a way that avoids devastating the Green Belt and the city’s green spaces.
