I'm running as the Scottish Labour Candidate in the Portobello and Craigmillar By-election.

Following the resignation of the SNP councillor in the Portobello/Craigmillar ward, there will be a by-election in the seat, scheduled for September 3rd. I have been selected as the Scottish Labour Candidate for that election.
My background is as a children's rights campaigner and a civil servant working in marine environmental protection. I am 32, I was born in Musselburgh, went to Portobello High School and have lived in Edinburgh for 25 years - including the last three years in Portobello. Labour are delivering bold action to make life more affordable across Edinburgh, against SNP government cuts. We need more voices who will call this out.
Together we can win this by-election and make every part of Edinburgh a great place to live!
