Statement to voters

I have lived in Dulwich for 40 years and four of my grandchildren are at local state schools. I want to make sure that they - and all local residents – live in the best possible environment.

I have always tried to ‘make a difference’. As Head of JAGS (in the 90’s) and then the British International School in Rome I worked to provide opportunities for young people.

I was part of the local group fighting for the Dulwich Village junction to prioritise clean air and pedestrians, rather than through-traffic.

I was responsible for the recent Lib-Dem questionnaire on attitudes towards the Dulwich Estate and am now involved in setting up a (non-political) Dulwich Village Neighbourhood Forum, a statutory body to represent local views.

I hope as a councillor I would be fair and independent-minded, hard-working and forward-looking: a person to be trusted to act for the good of all.
