Statement to voters

Having been brought up and educated in Hawkinge / Folkestone, I moved to Foreland Square in 1982 after marrying a local girl from Telegraph Road.

My wife and I have 4 children and 3 grandchildren; all of whom have attended Deal schools. I originally trained as a nurse by the NHS and have worked closely with the NHS as an orthopaedic supplier for 22 years. The NHS is especially close to my heart as is the excellent service provided by Deal Hospital which I and all my family have used over the years. I currently work for a Children's Hospice based in Kent. My hobbies include, Golf, fundraising for various charities including committee member for the Deal Memorial Bandstand and the Sgts Mess Pantomime. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I will; * Listen to and represent ALL residents of the Mill Hill ward * Campaign to ensure that any new housing is sustainable * Oppose unsustainable development * Do my best to protect valuable green spaces * Support changes to ensure a greener, safer environment * Support local businesses as they reopen * Fight for a litter free environment
