Statement to voters

I am a Royal Navy veteran of the Falklands War and I am standing as a Parliamentary candidate for West Worcestershire in the General Election on December 12th.

    Full statement

I started my own business in fire and intruder alarms in 1996 and twenty-three years on much has been achieved through a combination of hard work, luck and good sense.

There is much that I feel needs improving in our country and many of these are issues that are prioritised in the Green Party’s manifesto.

The most important thing we need to address is:

Climate Change: The Green Party plans to invest 100 billion each year for the next ten years to play or part in addressing the global climate crisis. £91.2 billion a year will be borrowed, and the other £9 billion will come from changes in the tax system. The Green Party pledges to make Britain carbon neutral by 2030.

This statement was added by Martin Allen, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
