Andrew Kerry-Bedell's policies
Statement to voters
Campaigning to help residents fight unplanned new housing, create better and more sustainable transport solutions, fix ChEmRoute to make it work for all and safeguard Chichester Harbour from sewage and storm water releases.
I'll also protect local services keep local buses, schools and libraries open, ensure a police presence in every community, and ensure high quality delivery of adult, children's and social care in Southbourne, Chidham and Hambrook, West Thorney, Nutbourne, Westbourne, Stoughton, Compton and Marden.
Andrew set up Save Our Harbour Villages (SOHV) and CHPAG campaigning groups that have both been successful in influencing Chichester Council's Local Plan at every level, in reducing new housing allocations, protecting and reinstating wildlife corridors and better taking account of known climate change effects, as well as and a need for more sustainable local infrastructure. www.SOHV.org.uk and www.CHPAG.wordpress.com
Andrew is also project leading a new free minibus service across Bourne parishes that will launch in early 2022.
