Statement to voters
I've lived in Kursaal ward for many years and I'm standing as the Labour candidate to make a difference.
Full statement
I bring vast experience through my work in social housing and healthcare.
I believe we can build a city to be proud of, if we work together. We need cleaner, safer streets - not litter, dumped rubbish and dog mess that we see too often. We need pavements and potholes repaired urgently. We need anti-social behaviour tackled, not ignored. We need investment, not cuts, in our culture.
As a school governor I've seen the importance of creating a supportive environment for children's education inside and outside of school so believe strongly in keeping our libraries open and increasing services in family centres to support children's development.
