Statement to voters
Elected in 2016, James has worked hard to build links among the many brilliant local community groups across Newington. He has helped establish a new Tenants & Residents Association, and fought for the development of new council homes on the Pelier Estate.
By day, James works for a charity in London Bridge which campaigns to drive up employment standards and workers’ rights.
On the council, he has championed the introduction of community-run energy schemes and continues to stand up for the rights of European citizens following the EU referendum vote.

This statement was added by James Coldwell, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
