Statement to voters

Born in Heatherwood Hospital Ascot and having lived and worked in Windsor nearly all of his life, Michael Boyle has volunteered and supported many local and national causes and charities including; Make Votes Matter, King George VI Day Centre, Windsor Homeless Project and Windsor Muslim Association.

He has been involved in politics since 2016 having previously been a member of Windsor Labour Party and now currently sits on the Executive committee of East Berkshire Green Party as Co-Chair. He has consistently campaigned on issues such as; protecting the NHS from privatisation, Establishing a Windsor town council, Helping homeless into rehabilitation and housing, Promoting mental health care and opposing poorly planned green belt developments.

He describes himself as a pragmatic-environmentalist and believes that the financial burdens of transitioning to a greener more sustainable economy should not fall on the heads of the general public who are already struggling with the rising cost of living. Michael currently works as an Outreach Recovery Worker for Charity Turning Point and spends his free time Gardening and working on a rhyming children’s book about deforestation.
