“I have been involved off and on with the Green Party since It was called the Ecology Party. Always keen on wildlife since playing with beetles and ants as a little girl and interested in science. I am now a beekeeper. Working as a Career Guidance adviser for adults up and down the country (Kent, Glasgow, Manchester, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Nottingham) I became deeply concerned by the inequalities of life which riddle our society. In Broxtowe now I believe there is a genuine opportunity for Green policies to have a major impact. Broxtowe already has some excellent local councillors who hold many green principles. I want to work collaboratively with them across parties to make real changes to benefit both people and planet.”
