My name is Dave Blackwell and I have represented you on the council for the last 24 years and as a life long Islander I am very proud that so many of you have elected me to represent you over the years.

I have been working tirelessly to resolve the main issues which affect you as you go about your daily lives. I have pushed hard to get many roads in this area resurfaced and footpaths reinstated but also, I appreciate there is still a long way to go.

I have been working with all the agencies to help resolve the surface water flooding issues on Canvey too. Working alongside the police to help cut the crime on Canvey.

I believe we need to continue our strong independent voice on Canvey and we, the Canvey Island Independent Party can speak out your concerns and stand up against the mainland Tory Councillors who don't seem to care what happens on our beloved Island.

Canvey has many issues and with your vote I would like to carry on fighting to help resolve them. Crime, antisocial behaviour, road infrastructure, over development and many, many more issues that both you and I face each day.
