Statement to voters
Andrew lives and runs his small business in Haxby. Previously, Andrew worked as a town planner for over a decade. If elected, he plans to put his knowledge of council processes to good use, fighting for residents to be at the heart of decision-making.
Andrew has been involved with the Lib Dems since 2003, joining to support the principled opposition to Labour's illegal war in Iraq. He stood against the Conservative Party Chairman in the 2017 General Election.
In his spare time, Andrew enjoys playing board games and badminton, and has a keen interest in Japanese culture.
This statement was added by Andrew Hollyer, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
