A Basildon Borough Councillor since 2002, Terri has represented the Crouch Ward covering Noak Bridge, Steepleview, Dunton, Ramsden Cray’s, Ramsden Bellhouse and London Road, Wickford.

Terri has lived in Noak Bridge for over 30 years is an ardent campaigner for local residents concerns and is totally committed to resolving them. She campaigns with sheer determination and a clear attitude to deliver positive results for constituents across the ward.

Terri communicates with constituents by, holding fortnightly surgeries, email and telephone enquiries, attending site visits to look closer at local problems and represents residents at hearings and planning meetings to achieve a desired outcome.

Terri volunteers for the Noak Bridge Village Hall committee as chairman providing a local facility for residents. She is an experienced fund raiser, recently obtaining funding from Essex County Council to improve the car park.

Terri was elected to Noak Bridge Parish Council in May 2016 and is working with a new team of Parish Councillors’ to deliver projects and improvements of residents’ choice.

The current hot topic for Basildon Council is ‘The Local Plan’ which deals with the future of Basildon up to 2034. Housing numbers and where they will be developed is the critical point. Terri has responded to ALL Local Plan consultations concerning the Crouch ward and will continue to air your views and support the Parishes with their concerns where excessive amounts of housing is proposed in defence of the green belt.
