Statement to voters

I am humbled and privileged to be again selected to be your Labour candidate for the 6 May local Preston City Council election.

Full statement

It has been a pleasure to be your Councillor for the last 4 years and I have represented your interests in numerous areas at the Council including notably:

Parks - ensuring our parks spaces are looked after and anti social behaviour is reported to the Police.

Waste - by dealing with waste issues which have been reported to me.

Planning - by making representations to the planning committee.

Middle East - by ensuring your views are heard in the Council chamber and writing to the Labour Party leadership and government Ministers to relay your views.

Burial and Cremation - ensuring fees are frozen given the continued cost of living crises.

Harris Library and Museum - overseeing the refurbishment of the building ensuring it delivers for residents.

It would be a pleasure to represent you again for the Garrison ward working alongside Cllr Amber Afzal and Cllr Freddie Bailey. Should you have any issues you would like to raise please contact me on the details below.
