I decided to stand by chance, after the school in Rhigos got shut by the council I was telling some friends that they need to get more involved, we can't leave matters in the hands of career politicians linked to the parties, to protect their career they will do anything the party says, we need regular local folks to get an interest and get involved, their reply was "why don't you do it"? I'm standing as an independent because I don't like any of the parties, they are all a different shade of the same idea, so I wanted to offer a "none of the above" option, also a Libertarian option, we keep being told how they will fix the problems for us, but the more they "fix" the more is broken, is about time that we tried something different, like removing state interference in every personal affair.

They tell you that the problem is too much freedom, sure, buy a house, you can't have it until is registered with the government, once bought you require permission to further build on your land and more permissions to be allowed to rent it. Is it really yours if the state controls what you can do with it?
