Statement to voters

Elsie Rosam moved to Dorking in the 1990s and since then has played an active role in our community, most recently campaigning to prevent oil drilling at Coldharbour and to limit the felling of trees on Norbury Park.

Full statement

Elsie trained as a psychodynamic counsellor and has completed seven years as a volunteer for MYTIME for young carers at the United Reformed Church in Dorking. She has also recently joined the volunteer team at Dorking Minds, a charity that aims to help people take control of their mental health, and has raised over £10,000 for the Brigitte Trust.

As a member of the Pixham Residents Association, Elsie has been both active and vocal on local issues when necessary.

In her spare time, Elsie enjoys sport and music, and was fortunate to tour England as a roadie for Julie Felix.

Elsie Rosam is committed to maintain our beautiful area and is currently campaigning to keep the Dorking Tip open, to introduce 20mph speed limits in our villages, and to withdraw the new parking charges on the County Council's Countryside Estate. She also believes that we should provide support to those in our community who need assistance.
