Statement to voters

I came to Leeds to study in 2001 and have been here ever since.

Full statement

I live in LS6 with my family and have been an active environmental campaigner for many years, including running the Healthy Air Leeds group.

If elected as the Green Party candidate for Moortown in Leeds, I'd expect to be actively involved in working in the ward to improve the area for all of the residents.

The key concerns I'd aim to address for the ward if elected would be:

1. Improving public and active transport to reduce air pollution. 2. Protecting green spaces to maintain public areas to enjoy whilst respecting wildlife. 3. Promoting sustainable living to help Moortown to become a low-carbon ward.
