Adam Wilkinson is one of our three Labour councillors for Sowerby Bridge ward – a position he has held for 9 years.

He is the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People on Calderdale Council and is a qualified teacher. He has also worked in the NHS and in the private sector, but now works as Office Manager to Holly Lynch, the Member of Parliament for Halifax, as well as carrying out his Cabinet role.

He is involved with a number of local community groups and sits on the Sowerby Bridge Development Board. When he is not working he enjoys running, and has raised money for several charities in recent years.
