I’m Jaroslaw Kubaszczyk, but everyone calls me Jaro.

I was born in Poland in 1987, moved to UK in 2007. I’m living in Gloucester since 2010. Recently I was granted British citizenship. I’m married to Ela and have two children – Milena and Adam.
I’ve completed Level 3 Mechanical Engineering award in Gloucestershire College, currently studying Business Management at Open University.
I work for an engineering company in Stonehouse. I am founder and chairman of the Polish Association Gloucestershire charity and creator of the Polish Heritage Day festival in Gloucester. I was an active member of Kingsway Resident Association. I was recognised as a Community Upstander 2019 in the Gloucestershire We Are One Awards.
I have been working along our Councillors for over two years and supporting their efforts within the community of Kingsway. I love helping people and building inclusive and friendly relations through various activities and events.
I would like to be your voice and I'm asking for your support in the upcoming City Council election.
