I've lived in Charlton Park ward for twenty years, raising a family here and becoming a mature student at the University of Gloucestershire, studying a BA in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics, and a MSc in Psychology.

In both degrees, I focused on relationships within and between communities, and looked at how working together with mutual respect can really strengthen our society. As such, I am an advocate of dialectical politics, and believe a collaborative approach to be the most effective.

I've worked in administration in communication and social care organisations, including Social Services in two other counties and, latterly, as a Parish Administrator in several Cheltenham churches. I undertook a career change after lockdown, and now work as a Facilitator at National Star.

I am in the final stages of studying a Diploma in Lead Adult Care to bolster this role, and thoroughly enjoy enabling young adults to achieve their full potential.

I believe the way forward for a Greener future lies in developing relationships and initiatives within the community and beyond: none of us can save the planet alone, but we need to invest in people and empower groups to make ambitious change that includes everybody.
