My career was based in the NHS and private consultancy. I have lived in Headington for most of my life and have two adult children who have left home

Over the last 15 years I have gained considerable experience of community issues, including working for three charities, being a member of Headington Action, Chair of a residents' association, the Headington and Marston Community Forum (H&MCF) that met in the Police Office, Westlands Drive, Northway."

Peter West is running on a campaign focused on opposition to Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs).

Peter Wests other priorities are:

Public Transport, Prioritising and Obtaining Value for Money within Council Expenditure, the Cost-of-Living Crisis, Good Quality Social Care, Restoring Neighbourhood Policing, Affordable Housing and New Building Developments
