Dan is Labour's candidate for Eastleigh, Chandler's Ford and the villages.

With the pollsters predicting a Labour government at the next election, Dan is the only candidate who can give Eastleigh a voice and a seat at the table in the next government.



Dan's family has lived in Eastleigh and Bishopstoke since the war, with his relatives having taught science at the Wyvern School. He got married last year locally to his wife Cicely in a church ceremony.



A scientist by background, Dan studied Physics at the University of Oxford before moving into business. He has led successful investment deals and created hundreds of well-paid jobs, including bringing £300m worth of investment into the UK healthcare sector. He is keen to use his experience to bring well paying jobs in technology to Eastleigh.



Dan is proud to have grown up in a working class household and attended state comprehensive schools. He is a passionate community activist, having volunteered at foodbanks and helped to set up a covid mutual-aid group during the pandemic.



In his spare time, he enjoys walking in the South Downs and learning more about history.
