Statement to voters

I am standing because I believe that Britain's relationship with the EU is the most important issue in the election and yet all the major parties are silent on it.

Full statement

I used to be a member of the Labour Party but I became disillusioned when Keir Starmer decided to embrace Brexit. Consequently, on the most important issue facing the country it is impossible to distinguish between the two main parties. A vote for me is a vote for a candidate of the left, one who agrees with Keir Starmer that if you want change you have to vote for it but who believes that you will not get change by voting for the Labour Party since on all the issues that matter you cannot get a cigarette paper between them and the Conservatives.
