The Mayor of Doncaster is elected to lead Doncaster Council. The Mayor chairs the council's cabinet, directs the council's strategy, and sets the council's budget. The Mayor's decisions can only be overturned by a two-thirds majority of councillors.
You will have one vote, and can choose from 12 candidates.

If you have a postal vote, you can hand it in at this polling station on election day up to 10pm. When handing in postal votes, you will need to complete a form, giving your name, address, how many postal votes you are handing in, and why you are handing in those postal votes.

Voting by post
If you know that you won't be able to get to the polling station on polling day, you can vote by post. You have until 14 April 2025 to Apply for a postal vote.

If you have a postal vote, your local council will send your postal voting pack around three weeks before polling day.
