East Sutherland and Edderton ward by-election

This election will be held on Thursday 25 June 2026.

There is one seat up for election, and you can choose from five candidates.

    This election uses Single Transferable Vote.

    Rank the candidates by your preference: 1, 2, 3… You don't have to rank all the candidates, but you must at least mark your first choice.

    Read the instructions at the top of your ballot paper carefully.

    Ballot papers for the election on 25 June 2026 will not be printed until after 21 May 2026.

    If you are away from home before or shortly after 21 May 2026, and will not return before polling day, your postal vote will not reach you in time for you to use it. In this case, you should consider applying for a proxy vote instead.
