  • The Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire leads the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority. The Mayor has responsibilities in areas such as transport, housing, adult education, and skills.

    A combined authority is a group of councils which come together to make decisions on policy areas that affect them all, such as transport between local authorities or regional business policies. Not all areas have a combined authority, and not all combined authorities have the same powers.

    The Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority consists of Lincolnshire County Council, North East Lincolnshire Council and North Lincolnshire Council.

    Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority is a new organisation, and this will be its first election.
