I moved to Monks Eleigh 8 years ago from London, where I served as a Labour Councillor in Islington for 25 years. During that time I learnt how we can be effective in improving the lives of the people we represent. The last thirteen years have been tough for many, and when I arrived here I soon realised that there was much in common between the inner city and beautiful area we live in. Housing, especially social housing is key, but decent services are vital. Bringing some of these in house should save the Council money and improve on what we have. I have experience from my time as a Councillor including conservation, planning, environment, and waste management, and have an understanding about how Local Government works and how to get things done. The Tories have been coasting for too long and we need a shake up. I would be honoured to represent Box Vale and together we would indicate to the Tories that enough is enough.
