A retired managing director, he has more recently been a carer for his family, who have lived in the town for decades. He is standing to be a local councillor to give something back to the community he is proud to call home.

Steve brings experience as a former councillor, where he worked to protect the environment and local wildlife, and supported efforts to deliver affordable homes with the infrastructure needed for local people.

If elected, Steve says he will use his voice on the council to campaign against sewage spills, helping protect tourism, hospitality businesses, and Seaton’s coastline. In a recent letter he also expressed a desire to focus on improvements to the town centre and seafront.

Above all, Steve says he will stand up for the issues that matter to Seaton. He cares deeply about the town and hopes to draw on his record in business and in public service to support the community.
