Full statement
I enjoy this role where I have met great people and seen some of the everyday issues that affect people and their surroundings. This experience has given me the confidence to stand as a Parliamentary Candidate for the Heritage Party. I think MPs should have life and work experience outside politics. I am a mother of two, a graduate of the former Wye Agricultural College, and served 18 years in the RAF. I have also worked in retail, schools and now in a castle!
I stand in my constituency to give voters a choice. To save farms, wildlife, waterways, green spaces and Heritage buildings from destruction by unaffordable housing developments that bring huge profits to international consortiums. (If non-home-owners cannot afford them, why are they being built in such numbers?) Britain is one of the world's most nature-depleted countries. Any patch of scrubland or greenery lies prey to developers. Our NHS is at breaking point. Taxpayers' money is sent to escalate dangerous wars rather than saving lives here. I stand against lockdowns, mandated medications, digital IDs, the phase-out of cash for digital currency, GM/engineered foods, Net Zero (it is damaging for the economy and the environment) and a surveillance society. Britain imports 80% of its fruit and 50% of its vegetables and we could grow so much more, including organic if we supported British farmers and stopped the loss of farmland to housing construction etc. Britain can never flourish without its farmers, its nature, its freedom, its culture, traditions and heritage, peace and common sense.
