Full statement

There is a big list of things we need to address in this country. I believe in nationalisation of services. Housing needs better regulation and the cost of living can come down. Dedicated community advocate and Dover resident. Running as an independent candidate, committing to putting people before politics and advocating for the needs of local residents. With a background deeply rooted in community service. My campaign focuses on bringing positive change to the constituency, addressing pressing issues and championing the voices of all residents. -Donate 40% of the MP salary back into the community before taxes, reinvesting in the District supporting local initiatives. As an independent I prioritises the interests of residents above party politics, ensuring that every decision made is in the best interest of the community. I want to setup youth councils and citizens assemblies. -Bring tourism and jobs: Proposing initiatives to support local businesses and foster economic growth in Dover. A major component of this plan is promoting Dover's historical sites and heritage. By promoting and enhancing the area's rich history with aims to boost tourism and create jobs, thereby strengthening the local economy. -Healthcare: Advocating for improved access to healthcare services and facilities for residents of all backgrounds. Changes must happen from the ground up, supporting healthcare staff and advocates who are on the front lines of service delivery. -Education and Youth services: Committing to improving education, ensuring every child has access to quality schooling and opportunities for personal growth. I believe that educational improvements should come from the ground up, empowering teachers and educational advocates to drive change within the system. -Environmental Sustainability: Promoting environmentally friendly policies and initiatives to protect Dover's natural resources and combat climate change. I advocate for using our colleges and schools to build youth councils and citizen assemblies to investigate new processes, utilising our own local champions to lead these efforts.
