Statement to voters

Dear Neighbour,

Our villages to the east of Guildford are very special places.

Full statement

But they are changing, and we need to protect what makes them unique places to live and work.

I want to bring some fresh thinking and practical problem solving into our communities to get things done for residents. I am new to local politics—not a failed politician of the past—and I am focused on bringing energy and determination to make a real difference for local people. Whether that means holding developers to account and protecting our green spaces, tackling illegal encampments, getting potholes filled, or backing our local businesses, I will stand up for residents every time.

I am proud to represent a Conservative Party in renewal, both locally and nationally. It has returned to the values we share of family, responsibility and enterprise, and I believe it is the only credible answer to the harm being done to our communities and our country. The Lib Dems do not have those solutions, Reform cannot win here, and R4GV are a spent force. Only the Conservatives will deliver the practical solutions we need in the Horsleys and across Surrey.

I am campaigning every day for a fresh and stronger voice for local people, and I hope that you will support me on Thursday 7th May.
