I love the sense of community we have here” says Lib Dem campaigner Michael Bennett.
“I’m really keen to give something back - to listen to local people - and make sure our views are represented. Our community has had some bad news coverage recently and that approach to local politics belongs in the past.”
“When I’ve spoken to people in Denmead and Newlands, a lot of common issues come up, including potholes, safer streets, doing more for the environment, how the City Council can work across borders to help ensure Waterlooville thrives and how we need councillors that listen.
There’s much more to be done, but those are my priorities, and I’ll work hard to make sure our voice is heard.
