Kyn Pomlett's policies
Statement to voters
I was drawn to the SDP through its pragmatic policies and focus on the family, community and nation.
Full statement
The SDP’s principles and policies build upon my personal values and principles - common sense democratic politics and fairness.
I believe that we must conserve the values that bind the communities in our area and challenge any divisive initiatives that fragment these communities at the local and national government level. Whilst I support a free-market economy I believe we must prevent the drip feed of our strategic national utility assets to private and overseas companies. Our strategic utilities must be held accountable, which can only by guaranteed by nationalising the utilities - a key SDP policy. I promote the rebuilding of the UK’s industries by buying British goods and services.
