Professionally Dylan has 23 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. Dylan has a background in business development and sales leadership roles for enterprise software companies.

Dylan served for three years as a Senior Civil Servant at the Department for International Trade (DIT) leading a Directorate of civil servants helping to increase British exports and attracting Foreign Direct Investment for the UK technology sector. Dylan provided policy advice to the Secretary of State and Ministers and led on cross-Whitehall sector engagement for DIT with the Cabinet Office and Number 10.

Dylan’s early career was in the British Army, he signed up to serve after the terrible events of 9/11 and was commissioned from Sandhurst into the Intelligence Corps. Dylan's operational service includes tours of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Northern Ireland. Dylan also served with NATO HQ Allied Rapid Reaction Corps.

Dylan was educated at Robert Gordon's College in Aberdeen and has a MA (Hons) in History, from the University of Edinburgh. Dylan is married with three children.
