Statement to voters
My name is Jon London and I am the Liberal Democrat District Councillor for Exning.

I look forward to being County Councillor for Exning and Newmarket. I’ve lived in West Suffolk for most of my life, moving to the Newmarket area in 2015. My wife and I fell in love with Newmarket and started our family here. I care deeply about our village and Town, it’s the only home my two children have ever known.
To me this community is many things. It’s chatting to other parents while walking to Exning Primary School, it’s kicking a football about on the Rec, it’s chatting to friends and neighbours as they walk their dogs, long summer cycle rides down North End Road and exploring the countryside. It’s the lantern festival down the Yellow Brick Road and shows at the Kings theatre.
Before going into politics I worked in science communication, including doing workshops in schools and working on TV shows such as Brainiac.
