Statement to voters
If elected to Kent County Council (KCC), I will bring my passion for community-driven change to improve Faversham for everyone.
Full statement
My hands-on experience as a Town
Councillor and deep belief in community gives me the commitment to tackling the
issues that matter most to local residents.
I will prioritise protecting and enhancing local services, ensuring that essential
amenities like Faversham’s recycling centre remain open and accessible. Having led
the successful campaign to prevent its closure, I understand the importance of
safeguarding public resources from the effects of prolonged financial
mismanagement.
I will use my work experience in transformation and change to help drive efficiencies
and save money so we can protect essential services for Faversham.
As a former school governor, I can see that KCC are failing SEND children. This will be
a top priority for me -I hear from local residents all the time on this issue. We must
working towards a system that provides the necessary support and resources to allow
every child to thrive.
Crucially, I believe in transparency and accountability. I have called for all councillor-
developer conversations to be declared and will continue to champion open
governance, ensuring residents voices are heard at every level.
With me on KCC, Faversham will have a relentless advocate who represents
community needs and has a proven track record of making a difference.
My vision is simple: to build a safer, fairer, greener, and more connected town
where everyone can thrive.
