I have lived in the south of Horsham for over 10 years. I’m standing in the upcoming Horsham District Council by-election to represent Denne ward and am writing to ask for your support on Thursday 21st November.

Here are some reasons why you may consider voting for me:

As a qualified teacher and founder of an eco-democratic learning community for children, I have the skills to do the job.

Protecting this beautiful part of Horsham we live in, for residents and for generations to come, is my main priority. Denne has an historical past, a positive future and is a great place to bring up children, all of which need protecting. As your Green councillor I will use my organisational skills to look at the detail of planning applications and at policies which will affect the area. As mother to an inquisitive nine-year-old son, and an educator, giving young people a voice is very important to me. I always work hard and like to get the job done. I’m determined to ensure my young son and all our children grow up to a future worth having.I am hard working, careful and dedicated to conserving our local environment.

The time is right for some change in Denne.

In Denne we have a Lib Dem MP, we have a Lib Dem-run Horsham District Council and we already have two Lib Dem councillors here to represent us. Isn’t it time for some change?

One strong, independently minded Green councillor could do so much for the area. We already have 9 hard working Green councillors speaking up for residents at Horsham District Council.

Your vote could make that 10 Green councillors - all working hard for the issues that matter to residents like speaking up about local issues and working hard to protect and connect our community.
