Statement to voters

Simon Gittus is the Green Party candidate for St. Laurence.

Simon is a professional Spatial Designer, with considerable experience in the commercial retail sector. He is a key volunteer supporting our Green City Councillor Richard Longstaff, and attends every Southend City Council and Leigh Town Council meeting.

Simon is a keen advocate for better urban planning, with a particular interest in creating sustainable and livable communities. Much of his campaigning has been challenging the City Council over their lack of EV infrastructure and lack of protection for our natural assets and green spaces.

This statement was added by Simon Gittus, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
