I bring with me vast experience as a procurement professional of 19 years, spanning the public and charity sectors. I started my career at Southend City (then Borough) Council before working within the NHS and then the City of London Corporation. I currently work for a research charity in London supporting cutting-edge scientific discovery. My career has been dedicated to serving the public interest, which goes to the core of why I have decided to stand.

Through my work, I have witnessed first-hand the importance of local democracy, efficient public services, and robust support systems for vulnerable members of our community.

Furthermore, my experience in procurement has instilled in me a strong sense of integrity, business ethics and a drive to ensure value for money. I understand the importance of allocating resources wisely and making data-based decisions. I will work diligently to ensure that our Council’s budget is utilised effectively and to address the needs of our community.

Above all, I am deeply invested in the future of our community and am dedicated to improving the outcomes for all residents from East to West, North to South.
