Statement to voters
I have lived in Wokingham Borough for 37 years and have worked as a doctor in a GP surgery for all that time.

My interests and experience are obviously around health and social care for residents, but I am also passionate about the environment and I belong to various charities protecting our planet - locally, nationally and worldwide.
I enjoy walking with my dog in the green spaces in and around the borough. I would be keen to preserve that facility for all whilst realising the need for affordable housing and infrastructure.
I have been a town councillor for 9 years, sitting on (and more recently chairing) the Amenities and Leisure committee. I have also been a member of the planning committee for the past year (an area I still have much to learn about). I am keen to serve the local community to make it an even better place to live and assist residents to get the help they need, and to be treated fairly and with respect.
