Abbey faces inequality and rising costs, it needs more council homes and community-led decisions. As a local engineer and trade unionist, I see the struggles of the workers who keep this city running. I will fight for residents, not developers or the super-rich. A vote for me is a vote for practical change, fair housing, and representatives who put working people first.

We have the unique legacy of trade unionist and Communist Party branch secretary Ronald Rolph in our ward. He joined the International Brigades and joined the medical auxillery during the Spanish Civil war. Upon returning to Cambridge, he continued to fight for housing, wages and working class involvement in council decisions. Ronald Rolph Court is named for him and his legacy.

A VOICE FOR WORKING PEOPLE
The Communist Party has never been for sale. We cannot be bought-off or silenced. Britain’s Communist MPs and councillors have always stood with working people.

INVEST IN THE PEOPLE OF ABBEY
Abbey needs jobs, housing and investment. We need a council that plans for the benefit of workers, not profiteers and landlords. Let’s build a people’s Cambridge!
