Statement to voters
I’ve had the privilege of serving as one of your St Thomas councillors for the past eight years, and I’m proud of the improvements we’ve achieved together by listening to your ideas and acting on your priorities.

We’re now approaching a significant period of change. Over the next two years, the City Council will be preparing to become part of a new unitary authority. Elections for that new council will take place in May 2027, followed by a ‘shadow authority’ that will operate until the City Council is fully incorporated in 2028.
During a transition of this scale, having a strong, experienced voice representing St Thomas will be essential. I hope you’ll place your trust in me to be that voice. Please judge me on the track record I’ve built as your Labour councillor—and on my continued ambition for St Thomas as we move into this next chapter.
