I am married with one grown up son. I was born and bred in Sheffield and have working class roots, which I am proud of. I have an interest in history and read quite widely. My working background is in financial services followed by running my own business in a hobby of mine which is vintage motorcycles for the last 20 years. So a mix of finance and business.

Just like every body else that I know I have voted in the past and hoped beyond hope that things would improve as a result. But they never really do, do they? I am tired of being let down and tired of listening to broken promises. So I feel that if things are going to improve, I can only crack on and try to do it myself. So I would be pleased to bring my years of experience to bear on our shared difficulties and listen to your problems. I have my feet on the ground and my head is most definitely not in the clouds. I know that all our lives can be made much better and I want to pass on a far brighter future to our kids than we are presently on track to do. Reforms policies are the ones that speak closest to what I would like to see happen. No party is perfect, and some things need tweaking, but by and large the parties plans and direction make most sense to me.
