Statement to voters
I have lived and worked in the constituency for many years. I campaign on education issues locally and nationally, and am chair of my local library community group. I love living here. But as in many areas, Suffolk's sense of community is threatened by increased inequality, impoverished public services, and decisions that fail to take account of the needs of local people. I am standing to be MP for South Suffolk as I want to work for a Suffolk that is not only beautiful to look at, but has secure, effective public services, and is a vibrant and affordable place to live.
