Rebecca has been a Green Party member since 2010, originally being inspired to join the party by Caroline Lucas standing as an MP in the 2010 General Election.

She has always had a strong interest in environmental issues, and feels that the Green Party offers the best policies for the environmental and societal changes that are so strongly needed to tackle pollution, risks to human and environmental health, and systematic inequality.

Originally born in Farnham, Rebecca has lived in the Gravesham area since 2015. She works as a scientific writer and technical communications specialist.

Rebecca was elected as Communications Officer for the Dartford & Gravesham Green Party in 2023, and has played an integral role in local communications and campaign planning.

Rebecca has an active interest in local conservation and maintenance; she is a Gravesham Street Champion and regularly organizes litter picks in the local area. She is also a keen advocate for social equality, and is a founding organizer of the Dartford Care Backpacks initiative, working alongside Newtown Green Councillor Laura Edie to provide this support for homeless people in the local area.

Rebecca joined the Dartford & Gravesham Green Party because she cares deeply about the local area and wants to support change for the better, not only for our local residents, but also for a fairer and greener future for everyone, especially for future generations.

Rebecca is the Green Party’s candidate for Gravesham at the July 2024 General Election.
